Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain strong store presence on the selling floor (75–80% of time) to deter theft, support service delivery, and ensure a safe environment
- Lead or participate in asset protection and safety training sessions to reinforce protocols across the team
- Collaborate with store managers and district asset protection leadership to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor store activity and use CCTV and reporting tools to identify, document, and investigate potential losses
- Respond professionally to incidents by de-escalating situations while prioritizing safety and client experience
- Execute asset protection audits and prepare detailed reports for management review
- Maintain full compliance with all asset protection policies and licensing requirements
- Support multiple store locations as assigned by management
- Represent Sephora in legal proceedings, including testifying in court if required
- Maintain flexible scheduling availability during peak retail operations (nights, weekends, and holidays)
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Demonstrable understanding of retail operations, shrink metrics, and safety protocols
- Proven ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across diverse teams
- Strong conflict de-escalation and communication skills
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and digital reporting tools
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Excellent attention to detail and written communication abilities
- Ability to maintain punctuality and consistent attendance
