Sephora is hiring an Asset Protection Partner in Milford, CT to safeguard store assets and maintain a secure, inclusive environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Promote safety and awareness by leading or joining meetings and training sessions to reinforce asset protection and safety protocols
- Maintain strong store presence, spending 75–80% of time on the selling floor to deter theft, support customer service, and ensure a safe environment
- Partner with store leadership to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives across the location
- Monitor store activity and investigate losses using CCTV systems and reporting tools
- De-escalate incidents professionally and appropriately, prioritizing safety and the customer experience
- Execute asset protection audits and prepare detailed reports for corporate review
- Ensure adherence to all asset protection policies and licensing requirements
- Support multiple store locations as needed and represent Sephora in legal proceedings when required
- Maintain flexible scheduling availability during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Demonstrated understanding of retail operations, shrink management, and safety best practices
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams and organizational levels
- Strong conflict de-escalation and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and asset protection reporting tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
