Sephora Asset Protection Partner in Miami, FL: $21–$24.75/hr, full-time retail security and loss prevention role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Promote safety and awareness by leading or participating in meetings and training sessions to reinforce asset protection and safety protocols
- Maintain strong store presence by spending 75–80% of time on the sales floor to deter theft, support client service, and ensure a safe environment
- Monitor and investigate losses using CCTV footage and reporting tools to identify discrepancies and potential incidents
- De-escalate situations professionally while prioritizing safety and client experience
- Partner with store leadership to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives across the location
- Execute audits and prepare comprehensive reports documenting asset protection efforts and findings
- Ensure compliance with all asset protection policies and applicable licensing requirements
- Support multiple store locations as needed and provide testimony in court if required
- Maintain flexible scheduling and reliable attendance, meeting minimum weekly shift requirements and availability during peak retail operations
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Strong understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety protocols
- Proven ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams
- Demonstrated conflict de-escalation and crisis communication skills
- Comfortable using CCTV systems and loss prevention reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Valid driver's license or ability to meet transportation requirements for multi-location support
Skills
Experience
1–2 years in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention, with demonstrated understanding of retail shrink, safety protocols, and conflict de-escalation in a fast-paced retail environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in asset protection or loss prevention are preferred.
