Asset Protection Partner at Sephora Canada in Markham, ON. CAD$25–$30/hr, full-time, retail loss prevention role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct surveillance on the sales floor and monitor CCTV systems to identify, observe, and deter or apprehend individuals committing external theft
- Prepare comprehensive reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits
- Perform store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections, communicating findings to store leadership and District Loss Prevention Manager
- Partner with store leadership and District Loss Prevention Manager in developing and executing shrinkage prevention plans
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal partners, local law enforcement agencies, mall security, and other retailers
- Provide new hire and continuous employee training on loss prevention awareness and techniques
- Testify in court on behalf of the company in criminal or civil cases as required
- Assist store leadership with inventory preparation and processes to maintain operational controls
- Meet minimum weekly shift requirements: 30–40 hours for full-time positions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a retail environment
- Current and active asset protection or loss prevention licensing as required by Ontario or local jurisdiction
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching on loss prevention techniques
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly

Experience
Minimum 1 year of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a retail environment is required. The position requires demonstrated expertise in loss prevention operations, surveillance techniques, and retail security protocols.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent qualification is required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 25 to CAD 30 per hour.
