Asset Protection Partner at Sephora Langley, BC — full-time loss prevention role protecting retail assets. CAD $25–$30/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct surveillance on sales floor and monitor CCTV systems to identify, observe, and deter external theft
- Prepare detailed incident reports regarding thefts, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits
- Maintain professional relationships with internal partners, local law enforcement, mall security, and neighbouring retailers
- Provide new hire and continuous employee training on store loss prevention awareness and techniques
- Conduct store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections, communicating findings to store leadership and District Loss Prevention Manager
- Partner with store leadership in developing and executing shrinkage prevention plans and inventory processes
- Provide friendly, professional service to clients while maintaining loss prevention vigilance
- Testify in court on behalf of the company in criminal or civil proceedings as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a retail environment
- Current and valid asset protection or loss prevention licensing as required by British Columbia or local jurisdiction
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to maintain composure and provide effective in-the-moment coaching on loss prevention techniques
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and bend/stretch to stock shelves
