Sephora Asset Protection Partner, Lakewood, CO – Full-time hourly role safeguarding retail assets and store safety.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain strong store presence on the selling floor (75–80% of shift time) to deter theft, support customer service, and ensure a safe environment
- Lead and participate in asset protection training and safety protocol meetings to reinforce awareness among team members
- Collaborate with store managers and the District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor CCTV systems and utilize reporting tools to identify, investigate, and document losses and suspicious activity
- De-escalate incidents professionally, prioritizing both safety and positive customer experience outcomes
- Execute and complete asset protection audits, preparing comprehensive reports for leadership review
- Ensure full compliance with all asset protection policies, licensing requirements, and legal regulations
- Support multiple store locations as assigned and required
- Represent Sephora in legal proceedings and testify in court on behalf of the company if required
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of demonstrated experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Solid understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety best practices
- Proven ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across diverse teams
- Strong conflict de-escalation and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and loss prevention reporting tools
- Excellent communication abilities and meticulous attention to detail
- Physical capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs
