Asset Protection Partner at Sephora in Houston, Texas. Full-time hourly retail security role; $23–$27.12/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong store presence, spending 75–80% of time on the selling floor to deter theft, support customer service, and ensure a safe environment
- Lead or participate in asset protection and safety training meetings to reinforce protocols and increase awareness
- Collaborate with store managers and the District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor store activity using CCTV and reporting tools to identify and investigate losses
- De-escalate incidents professionally while prioritizing safety and client experience
- Complete audits and prepare reports documenting asset protection efforts
- Adhere to all asset protection policies and licensing requirements
- Support multiple store locations as needed
- Represent Sephora in court proceedings if required
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, shrinkage dynamics, and safety protocols
- Proven ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams
- Strong conflict de-escalation and communication skills
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and loss prevention reporting tools
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
