Asset Protection Partner role at Sephora Ala Moana, Honolulu. $23.00–$27.12/hr, full-time, 30–40 hrs/week. Safeguard store assets and maintain safety.
Role & Responsibilities
- Promote safety and awareness by leading or participating in meetings and training sessions to reinforce asset protection protocols
- Maintain strong store presence, dedicating 75–80% of working hours to the selling floor to deter theft, support customer service, and ensure a safe environment
- Collaborate with store leadership and managers to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Use CCTV and digital reporting tools to identify, monitor, and investigate potential losses
- De-escalate incidents professionally, prioritizing customer safety and experience throughout conflict resolution
- Complete audits and prepare asset protection reports as required
- Adhere strictly to all asset protection policies and maintain required licensing and compliance standards
- Support operations across multiple store locations as needed
- Represent Sephora in legal proceedings and court testimony if required
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of professional experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Demonstrated understanding of retail operations, inventory shrinkage, and safety protocols
- Proven ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams at all levels
- Strong conflict de-escalation and crisis communication skills
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and digital reporting platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to lift, carry, and move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
