Sephora in Honolulu, HI is hiring an Asset Protection Partner — full-time hourly position ($23.00–$27.12/hr) focused on loss prevention and store safety.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain a visible, proactive presence on the selling floor (75–80% of shift) to deter theft, support client service, and uphold a safe environment.
  • Monitor store activity using CCTV and reporting tools; identify, investigate, and document incidents of loss or suspicious behavior.
  • Partner with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager to develop and implement shrink reduction and safety strategies.
  • Lead or participate in asset protection trainings, meetings, audits and prepare reports to quantify and communicate results.
  • Respond to incidents, de-escalate conflicts professionally, prioritize the safety of clients and employees, and, when required, represent Sephora in legal proceedings.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years experience in retail operations, hospitality, sales, asset protection, or loss prevention.
  • Demonstrated ability to de-escalate conflict and manage sensitive incidents with professionalism and composure.
  • Familiarity with retail shrink concepts, safety protocols, and investigative techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail for producing accurate incident reports and audit documentation.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and to stand for extended periods during shifts.

Experience

1–2 years in retail operations, loss prevention, security, hospitality, or a related field with direct responsibility for safety, incident response, or shrink mitigation.
