Sephora Asset Protection Partner, Halifax NS – loss prevention & store security role, CAD$25–$30/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct surveillance on the sales floor and monitor CCTV systems to identify, observe, and apprehend or deter external theft
- Prepare detailed incident reports on theft, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits
- Maintain professional relationships with internal partners, local law enforcement, mall security, and neighbouring retailers
- Conduct store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections, communicating findings to Leadership and District Loss Prevention Manager
- Assist store Leadership team with inventory preparation and execution of shrinkage prevention plans
- Provide new hire and continuous employee training on loss prevention awareness
- Testify in court proceedings as required on behalf of the company
- Ensure compliance with all provincial and local licensing requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a retail environment
- Current and maintained licensing requirements as mandated by provincial or local jurisdiction
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to maintain composure and deliver effective coaching on loss prevention techniques
