Sephora Asset Protection Partner in Grand Rapids, MI – $21–$24.75/hr. Full-time retail security and loss prevention role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Promote safety and awareness by leading or participating in asset protection and safety protocol training sessions
- Maintain strong store presence by spending 75–80% of time on the selling floor to deter theft, support customer service, and ensure a safe environment
- Collaborate with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor and investigate losses using CCTV systems and reporting tools to identify and address suspicious activity
- De-escalate incidents professionally, prioritizing both safety and customer experience
- Execute audits and prepare comprehensive reports on asset protection efforts for management review
- Adhere strictly to all asset protection policies, compliance requirements, and licensing standards
- Support multiple store locations as needed and represent Sephora in court proceedings if required
- Maintain flexible scheduling availability during peak retail operations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety protocols
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams
- Proficiency in conflict de-escalation techniques
- Comfort and competence with CCTV systems and asset protection reporting tools
