Sephora Asset Protection Partner position in Ottawa, Canada. Full-time loss prevention role focusing on asset protection and retail security.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct surveillance on sales floor and monitor CCTV systems to identify, observe, and deter or apprehend individuals committing external theft
- Prepare detailed reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations, and audits
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal leadership, local law enforcement, mall security, and other retailers
- Testify in court on behalf of the company in criminal or civil cases as required
- Deliver new hire and continuous employee training to maintain store loss prevention awareness
- Conduct store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections, communicating findings to leadership and District Loss Prevention Manager
- Assist store leadership team with inventory preparation and process execution
- Partner with stores and loss prevention management to develop and execute shrinkage prevention plans
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a retail environment
- Valid asset protection or loss prevention license as required by Ontario or local jurisdiction
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching on loss prevention techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work across multiple store locations within a market

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 25 to CAD 30 per hour.
