Asset Protection Partner at Sephora in Freehold, NJ. Full-time hourly role ($23–$27.12/hr) safeguarding retail assets and ensuring store safety.
Role & Responsibilities
- Promote safety and awareness by leading and participating in asset protection training and meetings
- Maintain a strong store presence on the selling floor (75–80% of time) to deter theft, support client service, and ensure environmental safety
- Partner with store management to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives across locations
- Monitor CCTV systems and reporting tools to identify and investigate asset losses
- De-escalate incidents professionally while prioritizing client experience and employee safety
- Execute audits and prepare comprehensive reports documenting asset protection efforts
- Ensure compliance with all asset protection policies, licensing requirements, and company protocols
- Support multiple store locations as assigned and represent Sephora in court proceedings if required
- Maintain flexibility across peak retail operations including nights, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of professional experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Demonstrated understanding of retail operations, shrink drivers, and safety protocols
- Proven ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
- Strong conflict de-escalation and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and digital reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication with meticulous attention to detail
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
