Role & Responsibilities

  • Promote safety and awareness within the store environment.
  • Lead and participate in meetings and training sessions to enhance asset protection and reinforce safety protocols.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the sales floor, spending 75-80% of the time deterring theft and supporting service.
  • Collaborate with store leadership to align on shrink reduction and safety initiatives.
  • Utilize CCTV and reporting tools to monitor and investigate losses.
  • Respond to incidents by de-escalating situations professionally, prioritizing safety and client experience.
  • Execute audits and prepare reports to support asset protection efforts.
  • Adhere to all asset protection policies and licensing requirements.
  • Support multiple locations as needed.
  • Testify in court on behalf of the company if required.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention.

Skills

Understanding of retail operations, shrink, and safety protocols. Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams. Proficiency in conflict de-escalation. Comfortable using CCTV and reporting tools. Excellent communication and attention to detail. Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Experience

1–2 years in relevant fields such as retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention.
