Sephora in Elk Grove, CA is hiring an Asset Protection Partner — full-time hourly role ($23–$27.12/hr) protecting store assets and clients.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain a visible, proactive presence on the selling floor (approximately 75–80% of time) to deter theft and support client service.
  • Monitor store activity using CCTV and reporting tools; identify, investigate, and document incidents and losses.
  • Partner with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager to develop and implement shrink-reduction and safety initiatives.
  • Lead or participate in asset protection meetings and training to reinforce policies and best practices.
  • Respond to incidents and de-escalate conflicts while prioritizing client and employee safety and experience.
  • Conduct audits and prepare reports capturing asset protection metrics and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with company asset protection policies and local licensing requirements; represent the company as needed (including testifying in court).
  • Support multiple locations as required and maintain flexible availability for peak retail hours, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention.
  • Practical knowledge of retail shrink, safety protocols, and store operations.
  • Demonstrated conflict de-escalation and incident-management skills.
  • Experience using CCTV systems and incident/reporting tools for investigations.
  • Strong verbal communication, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to reliably work a flexible schedule (30–40 hours/week for full-time roles) including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
