Sephora seeks an Asset Protection Partner in El Paso, TX — hourly role focused on loss prevention, safety and client service at TX-Cielo Vista.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible, proactive presence on the sales floor (approx. 75–80% of time) to deter theft and support the client experience.
- Monitor store activity using CCTV and reporting tools; investigate potential losses and prepare detailed incident reports.
- Lead and participate in asset protection trainings and store meetings to reinforce safety protocols and shrink-reduction strategies.
- Partner with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager to design and execute loss-prevention initiatives.
- Respond to incidents, perform professional de-escalation, and prioritize safety for clients and employees.
- Conduct audits related to asset protection and submit compliance documentation as required.
- Represent the company in external proceedings when necessary, including providing testimony in court.
- Maintain flexible scheduling and reliable attendance; be available during peak retail hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention.
- Solid understanding of retail operations, shrink drivers, and store safety protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with cross-functional store teams.
- Proven conflict de-escalation skills and professional incident handling.
- Comfortable using CCTV systems and store reporting tools for investigation and documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and high attention to detail.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Experience
Requires approximately 1–2 years of relevant experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention with hands-on exposure to store-level security and shrink-reduction practices.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; relevant security, loss-prevention, or retail certifications and equivalent practical experience are valued.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.50 to USD 25.88 per hour.
