Role & Responsibilities
- Promote safety and awareness by leading or joining meetings and training to reinforce asset protection and safety protocols
- Maintain strong store presence by spending 75–80% of time on the selling floor to deter theft, support service, and ensure a safe environment
- Partner with store leadership to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor and investigate losses using CCTV and reporting tools to identify and respond to discrepancies
- De-escalate situations professionally, prioritizing both safety and client experience
- Execute audits and prepare reports documenting asset protection efforts
- Adhere to all asset protection policies and licensing requirements
- Support multiple store locations as needed and represent Sephora in legal proceedings if required
- Meet required weekly shift minimums (30–40 hours) with availability during peak retail operations and flexible scheduling
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety protocols
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams
- Strong conflict de-escalation and communication skills
- Comfort with CCTV systems and reporting software
