Sephora seeks an Asset Protection Partner to safeguard store assets and maintain a secure, inclusive retail environment at the Culver City location. The role combines active floor presence (75–80% of shift time) with investigation and reporting duties, including CCTV monitoring, incident response, and loss prevention strategy execution. The position requires flexibility for peak retail operations and a commitment to professionalism and client experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Spend 75–80% of time on the selling floor to deter theft, support service, and maintain a safe environment
- Lead and participate in asset protection and safety training meetings to reinforce protocols
- Collaborate with store managers and the District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Use CCTV and reporting tools to identify, investigate, and document losses
- De-escalate incidents professionally while prioritizing safety and client experience
- Complete audits and prepare asset protection reports
- Adhere to all asset protection policies, licensing requirements, and compliance standards
- Support multiple store locations as assigned and testify in court on behalf of the company if required
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety protocols
- Demonstrated conflict de-escalation and team collaboration skills
- Comfort using CCTV and asset protection reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
