Sephora Asset Protection Partner role in Concord, CA: $25–$29.50/hr, full-time retail security position safeguarding store assets and safety.
Role & Responsibilities
- Promote safety and awareness by leading and participating in meetings and training to reinforce asset protection and safety protocols
- Maintain strong store presence by spending 75–80% of time on the selling floor to deter theft, support service, and ensure a safe environment
- Partner with store leaders and the District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor and investigate losses using CCTV and reporting tools to identify and investigate discrepancies
- De-escalate situations professionally, prioritizing safety and client experience
- Complete audits and prepare reports documenting asset protection efforts
- Adhere to all asset protection policies, licensing requirements, and compliance standards
- Support multiple locations as needed and represent Sephora in legal proceedings if required
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety protocols
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams
- Strong conflict de-escalation and communication skills
- Comfort with CCTV systems and reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail and written communication
- Physical capacity to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
