Role & Responsibilities
- Promote safety and awareness by leading or participating in meetings and training to reinforce asset protection and safety protocols
- Maintain strong store presence by spending 75–80% of time on the selling floor to deter theft, support service delivery, and ensure a safe environment
- Collaborate with store leadership to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives across the organization
- Monitor and investigate losses using CCTV systems and reporting tools to identify potential risk areas and incident patterns
- De-escalate situations professionally while prioritizing client experience and employee safety
- Execute audits and prepare detailed reports on asset protection efforts for review and compliance
- Adhere to all asset protection policies and licensing requirements
- Support multiple store locations as assigned
- Represent Sephora and provide testimony in legal proceedings if required
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety protocols
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across diverse teams
- Demonstrated conflict de-escalation and crisis management skills
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and loss reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation capabilities
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
