Sephora Chicago — Asset Protection Partner (Full‑Time, $23.00–$27.12/hr) safeguarding store assets and ensuring client safety.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain a prominent, visible presence on the sales floor (approximately 75–80% of time) to deter theft and support client experience.
- Monitor store activity using CCTV and reporting tools; identify, investigate and document incidents and losses.
- Collaborate with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager to implement shrink-reduction and safety initiatives.
- Lead or participate in asset protection trainings and store meetings to reinforce safety protocols and awareness.
- Respond to incidents, professionally de-escalate conflicts, and prioritize the safety of clients and employees.
- Execute audits, prepare loss-prevention reports and maintain compliance with asset protection policies and licensing requirements.
- Support multiple store locations as needed and represent the company in legal settings, including testifying in court when required.
- Work flexible schedule during peak retail hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, and meet required weekly shift commitments.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection or loss prevention.
- Practical understanding of retail operations, shrink drivers and safety procedures.
- Proven conflict de-escalation skills and ability to manage sensitive incidents while preserving client experience.
- Comfortable operating CCTV systems and loss-prevention reporting tools; capable of conducting investigations and audits.
- Excellent verbal communication, attention to detail and ability to build trust with store teams.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and sustain floor presence for extended shifts.
- Availability to work full-time hours (30–40 hrs/week) including nights, weekends and holidays; punctual and reliable attendance.
