Sephora seeks an Asset Protection Partner in Brooklyn, NY to safeguard store assets, deter theft, and maintain a secure retail environment. Full-time, hourly position starting at $25/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain strong store presence by spending 75–80% of time on the selling floor to deter theft and support safe operations
- Lead and participate in asset protection meetings and training to reinforce safety protocols and enhance team awareness
- Collaborate with store managers to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor store activity and investigate potential losses using CCTV systems and reporting tools
- De-escalate conflicts professionally while prioritizing client experience and safety
- Complete audits and prepare detailed reports on asset protection efforts
- Adhere to all asset protection policies, licensing requirements, and compliance standards
- Support multiple store locations as assigned and represent Sephora in legal proceedings if required
- Maintain flexible scheduling availability during peak retail operations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Strong understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety principles
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams
- Proficiency in conflict de-escalation techniques
