Sephora Asset Protection Partner in Bridgewater, NJ — full-time retail security role, $25–$29.50/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Promote safety and awareness by leading or participating in training and security meetings to reinforce asset protection protocols
- Maintain strong store presence on the selling floor (75–80% of time) to deter theft and support a safe environment
- Partner with store leadership to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives with company objectives
- Monitor and investigate losses using CCTV systems and reporting tools
- De-escalate security incidents professionally while prioritizing customer experience and employee safety
- Execute regular audits and prepare comprehensive reports on asset protection efforts
- Ensure compliance with all asset protection policies and licensing requirements
- Support multiple store locations as needed
- Testify in court on behalf of Sephora if required
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and store safety protocols
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams
- Demonstrated conflict de-escalation skills
- Comfortable operating CCTV and loss prevention reporting tools
- Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
