Sephora Asset Protection Partner role in Brea, CA—safeguard store assets, prevent loss, and ensure safety for $23–$27.12/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Spend 75–80% of working time on the selling floor to deter theft, support client service, and maintain store safety
- Lead or participate in asset protection and safety training sessions to reinforce protocols across the store team
- Monitor store activity using CCTV and reporting tools to identify and investigate inventory losses and discrepancies
- Collaborate with store managers and the District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- De-escalate incidents professionally and compassionately, prioritizing the safety and experience of clients and employees
- Complete asset protection audits and prepare detailed reports documenting findings and actions taken
- Adhere to all asset protection policies, licensing requirements, and legal compliance standards
- Support multiple store locations as assigned and represent Sephora in legal proceedings, including court testimony when required
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Demonstrated understanding of retail operations, inventory shrinkage, and safety protocols
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across diverse teams
- Strong conflict de-escalation and communication skills
- Comfort and proficiency with CCTV systems and asset protection reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
