Sephora Canada is hiring an Asset Protection Partner in Brampton, ON. Full-time role, CAD$25–30/hr, focused on retail loss prevention and store asset protection.
Role & Responsibilities
- Protect store assets through proactive floor surveillance and CCTV monitoring to deter and detect external theft.
- Apprehend or deter individuals within legal and company policy parameters; preserve evidence and prepare detailed incident and recovery reports.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with store leadership, local law enforcement, mall security and neighbouring retailers.
- Testify in civil or criminal proceedings when summoned and represent the company professionally in legal contexts.
- Deliver new-hire and ongoing loss-prevention training to store personnel; provide in-the-moment coaching on shrinkage-reduction techniques.
- Conduct store self-audits, safety inspections and checklists; communicate findings and corrective actions to store leadership and District Loss Prevention Manager (DLPM).
- Assist with inventory preparation and support development and execution of shrinkage prevention plans in partnership with store leadership and DLPM.
- Maintain required weekly shift commitments and provide flexible coverage including evenings, weekends and holidays; be available to work across multiple market locations.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years of relevant experience in retail asset protection or loss prevention (experience requirement may vary by posting).
- Satisfy and maintain all provincial or local licensing requirements where applicable.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interviewing and listening skills, with the ability to provide effective coaching under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to follow legal protocols for apprehension, search and seizure, evidence preservation and court testimony.
- Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is desirable.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Availability for flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and capacity to work at multiple locations within the market.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending and stretching to stock merchandise; tolerance for working in a fragrance-rich environment.

Experience
Minimum three years of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a retail environment; prior experience working with law enforcement, conducting investigations, and providing testimony in legal proceedings is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 25 to CAD 30 per hour.
