Sephora Asset Protection Partner in Boston, MA — retail security and loss prevention role, $25–$31/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain strong store presence on the selling floor (75–80% of time) to deter theft, support customer service, and ensure a safe environment
- Lead and participate in asset protection and safety training meetings to reinforce protocols and build team awareness
- Collaborate with store managers and the District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink-reduction initiatives and safety strategies
- Monitor and review CCTV footage and reporting tools to identify, investigate, and document losses
- De-escalate situations professionally while prioritizing safety and client experience
- Complete audits and prepare detailed reports on asset protection efforts and incidents
- Ensure compliance with all asset protection policies and licensing requirements
- Support multiple store locations as assigned
- Testify in court on behalf of Sephora when required
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of professional experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Solid understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety protocols
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across diverse teams
- Demonstrated conflict de-escalation and communication skills
- Comfort using CCTV systems and loss prevention reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail and written communication abilities
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
