Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain strong store presence on the selling floor (75–80% of time) to deter theft, support service, and ensure a safe environment
- Lead or participate in asset protection and safety training meetings to reinforce protocols and increase team awareness
- Collaborate with store managers and the District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Use CCTV systems and reporting tools to monitor store activity, identify losses, and conduct investigations
- De-escalate incidents professionally while prioritizing safety and client experience
- Complete asset protection audits and prepare detailed reports on findings and initiatives
- Adhere to all asset protection policies, licensing requirements, and compliance standards
- Represent Sephora in legal proceedings and provide testimony if required
- Support multiple store locations as assigned and maintain flexible scheduling for peak retail operations
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Demonstrated understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety protocols
- Strong conflict de-escalation and interpersonal skills with ability to build trust across teams
- Proficiency with CCTV systems and asset protection reporting tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
