Asset Protection Partner role at Sephora's AL-Summit Birmingham location. Full-time, $21–$24.75/hr, with focus on store safety and loss prevention.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain strong store presence on the sales floor (75–80% of shift time) to deter theft, support client service, and ensure a safe environment
- Lead or participate in asset protection meetings and training sessions to reinforce safety protocols and loss prevention strategies
- Collaborate with store managers and the District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Use CCTV and reporting tools to identify, monitor, and investigate inventory losses and security incidents
- De-escalate challenging situations professionally while prioritizing client and employee safety
- Complete asset protection audits and prepare documentation and reports for leadership review
- Represent Sephora in legal proceedings and court testimony when required
- Adhere strictly to all asset protection policies, licensing requirements, and regulatory compliance standards
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink dynamics, and safety protocols
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams and leadership levels
- Demonstrated conflict de-escalation and communication skills
- Comfort with CCTV systems and loss prevention reporting tools
- Excellent attention to detail and written/verbal communication
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
