Role & Responsibilities
- Promote asset protection awareness and safety by leading or participating in training sessions and meetings to reinforce safety protocols
- Maintain strong store presence, spending 75-80% of time on the sales floor to deter theft and support customer service
- Collaborate with store management and the District Asset Protection Manager to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives
- Monitor store activity using CCTV and reporting tools to identify and investigate potential losses
- Respond to and de-escalate security incidents professionally while prioritizing customer experience and employee safety
- Complete audits and prepare detailed reports on asset protection efforts and findings
- Adhere to all asset protection policies, compliance requirements, and licensing standards
- Support multiple store locations as needed
- Represent Sephora in court proceedings if required
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
- Understanding of retail operations, inventory shrinkage, and safety best practices
- Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across all team levels
- Proficiency in conflict de-escalation techniques
- Comfort and competence with CCTV systems and reporting software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
