Sephora Canada is hiring an Asset Protection Partner in Abbotsford, BC — full-time loss prevention role focused on store security and shrinkage prevention.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct active surveillance on the sales floor and monitor CCTV to identify, deter and, when lawful, apprehend individuals committing external theft.
- Adhere to federal, provincial and company policies governing search, seizure, evidence preservation and apprehensions; prepare accurate incident and recovery reports.
- Collaborate with store Leadership, the District Loss Prevention Manager and external stakeholders (local law enforcement, mall security, other retailers) to develop and execute shrinkage-prevention plans.
- Deliver new-hire and ongoing loss-prevention training and provide in-the-moment coaching to store teams on prevention techniques and operational controls.
- Perform store self-audits, safety inspections and checklists; communicate findings and assist with inventory preparation and process adherence.
- Provide witness testimony in criminal or civil proceedings when required and support formal investigations and audits.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years of asset protection or loss-prevention experience in a retail environment.
- Satisfy and maintain all provincial or local licensing requirements applicable to loss-prevention duties.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Availability for flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, holidays and work at multiple market locations.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and stretching to stock merchandise.
- Demonstrated interviewing, written and verbal communication skills and capacity to maintain composure under pressure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel is desirable.
