Asset Protection Investigator position at Sephora's Avon, IN distribution center. Full-time, Friday–Sunday, $21–$22.45/hr with benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Identify, report, and document theft or company policy violations committed by employees or external parties
- Monitor CCTV systems and conduct physical surveillance on production floors and warehouse areas
- Review exception reports and inventory data to detect internal and external dishonest activity
- Assist with internal investigations, interviews, and evidence preservation in compliance with legal and company standards
- Apprehend or deter individuals engaged in external theft activities
- Testify in court proceedings when required on behalf of the company
- Participate in inventory processes and shrink reduction initiatives
- Conduct loss prevention training and awareness programs for warehouse associates
- Perform checklists, audits, and communicate findings to leadership
- Mentor and train new agents and security guard staff; review security schedules
- Maintain professional relationships with warehouse personnel, law enforcement, and external retailers
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of loss prevention experience in a retail environment
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to make rapid, sound decisions under pressure
- Capacity to de-escalate volatile and potentially dangerous situations
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information

Experience
Minimum 3 years of loss prevention experience in a retail environment, with supply chain experience preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 21 to USD 22.45 per hour.
