Sephora is seeking a full-time Asset Protection Associate for its Fort Myers store to safeguard assets, support safety and shrink initiatives, investigate losses, and respond to incidents. The permanent, regular position is hourly and requires 30–40 hours per week, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays; the role spends 75–80% of working time on the selling floor.
Role & Responsibilities
- Safeguard Sephora’s assets and support a safe, inclusive environment for clients and employees.
- Help implement safety and shrink strategies in partnership with store leaders and the District Asset Protection Manager.
- Lead or participate in meetings and training to strengthen asset protection and reinforce safety protocols.
- Maintain a strong store presence, spending 75–80% of working time on the selling floor to deter theft, support service, and maintain a safe environment.
- Collaborate with managers to align shrink-reduction and safety initiatives.
- Use CCTV and reporting tools to identify and investigate losses.
- De-escalate incidents professionally, prioritizing safety and the client experience.
- Conduct audits and prepare reports on asset protection efforts.
- Comply with asset protection policies and licensing requirements.
- Support multiple locations as needed.
- Represent Sephora in court and testify on its behalf if required.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention.
- Understanding of retail operations, shrink, and safety.
- Ability to build trust and collaborate across teams.
- Conflict de-escalation skills.
- Comfort with CCTV and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb.
- Availability for 30–40 hours per week and the required minimum number of weekly shifts or hours.
- Availability during peak retail operations, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
