Sephora Asset Protection Associate in Brossard, QC – Monitor store security, prevent loss, and protect assets in this full-time retail role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor store premises and utilize CCTV systems to identify, observe, and apprehend or deter individuals from committing theft
- Prepare and file comprehensive reports on theft incidents, merchandise recovery, accident investigations, and security audits
- Conduct in-store audits and inspect security checklists and safety measures to ensure compliance with loss prevention protocols
- Provide loss prevention awareness training to new hires and existing employees to foster a culture of asset protection
- Testify in court on behalf of the company in criminal or civil matters related to loss prevention incidents
- Collaborate with store management and district loss prevention leadership to develop and execute comprehensive loss prevention plans
- Assist store management with inventory preparation and stock processes
- Work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in asset protection or loss prevention in retail operations
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent
- Valid asset protection or security license as required by provincial or local authorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with active listening and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to conduct interviews and gather investigative information
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical capability to lift approximately 20 kg
- Ability to bend and stretch to place products on shelves
- Comfort working in environments with fragrant products
