Role & Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage and monitor comprehensive physical security efforts and access controls across all distribution center zones
  • Execute screening procedures for inbound and outbound personnel using metal detection technology and visual observation
  • Conduct regular inspections of property perimeters and internal building controls to identify security vulnerabilities
  • Respond swiftly and effectively to active threats or security incidents, employing de-escalation techniques and physical intervention when warranted
  • Administer the facility's identification badging system, including creating, issuing, and managing access credentials
  • Oversee inbound and outbound truck control processes, verifying appointments and maintaining supply chain integrity logs
  • Support investigations related to theft, loss, and security breaches, leveraging CCTV footage and other resources
  • Contribute to shrink reduction programs and foster a culture of security awareness among associates
  • Represent the company in legal proceedings, providing accurate testimony as required
  • Perform regular security audits and checklists, documenting findings for leadership review

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–2 years of dedicated experience in Loss Prevention or security, preferably within a distribution center environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Current guard or security certifications as required by local, state, and federal regulations
  • Proficiency with CCTV, alarm, and card access systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency with specialized loss prevention and inventory management systems
  • Physical capability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
