Sephora Singapore is hiring an Analytics Intern (July–Dec 2026) to support data modelling, ETL and reporting across omnichannel business operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of scalable data models used for analytics and reporting.
- Build, test and optimise data transformation pipelines to convert raw source data into clean, structured datasets.
- Perform data validation and QA checks to ensure completeness, accuracy and consistency of datasets.
- Troubleshoot pipeline issues and assist root cause analysis for upstream data incidents.
- Document data models, business logic, lineage and engineering standards to maintain knowledge continuity.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate business questions into analytical requirements and deliver actionable outputs.
- Contribute to ad‑hoc analyses and project work; prepare findings for presentation to functional teams.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of SQL and/or Python with hands‑on experience through coursework, projects or internships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, creativity and a continuous‑improvement mindset.
- Self‑starter attitude with a willingness to learn, take ownership and iterate on solutions.
Skills
Experience
Entry‑level; suitable for university students or recent graduates with academic or project experience using SQL and/or Python. Prior exposure to analytics or data engineering concepts through coursework, internships or personal projects is desirable.
Education
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or a related quantitative discipline.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Singapore, Central, Singapore.
