Sephora is hiring an Analyst, Sourcing Operations in San Francisco, CA. Transform sourcing data into strategic insights driving business decisions across North America in this hybrid role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze large and complex spend datasets to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and actionable business insights
- Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting, dashboards, and analytics that provide visibility into sourcing performance, supplier metrics, savings, and spend
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Sourcing, Finance, and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver meaningful analytical solutions
- Transform complex data into executive-ready presentations, dashboards, and visual storytelling that support strategic decision making
- Support the development and continuous improvement of scalable data infrastructure to improve data quality, accessibility, and reporting efficiency
- Manage recurring reporting processes, including spend reporting, savings tracking, supplier diversity reporting, and other operational metrics
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support sourcing initiatives, executive business reviews, and special projects
- Identify opportunities to automate reporting and improve sourcing processes through data-driven solutions
- Promote best practices in data governance, dashboard design, reporting standards, and analytics across the sourcing organization
- Continuously evaluate reporting tools and processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and business insights
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, sourcing operations, procurement analytics, supply chain, finance, or a related analytical field
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, PivotTables, data analysis, and macros
- Experience building dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations
- Knowledge of sourcing, procurement, supplier management, and strategic sourcing processes
- Experience with sourcing and procurement systems such as Coupa, Zip, SpendHQ, Per Angusta, or similar platforms
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate insights to executive and cross-functional audiences
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborative mindset with proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across functions
