Sephora Advertising Manager role in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France. Lead creative campaigns and media content strategy for Europe's largest beauty community.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Brief brands and creative teams on advertising and content asset requirements for full-funnel media campaigns
  • Create comprehensive toolboxes consolidating brand content aligned with campaign objectives and media strategy
  • Brief external creative agencies and freelance art directors on video, digital, and print requirements
  • Coordinate with the Europe media team to maintain and execute media campaign calendars, ensuring timely content production and delivery to countries and advertising sales houses
  • Monitor and validate all media campaign content for legal compliance, regulatory requirements, and brand alignment
  • Serve as guardian of the Sephora advertising graphic charter, ensuring consistency across internal, external, and brand communications
  • Oversee institutional campaign development, including video and still production, post-production (retouching, color grading, format adaptations), and visual asset creation
  • Compile country-specific needs and ensure content delivery to all regional markets
  • Develop and monitor campaign schedules for seasonal and institutional initiatives (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Christmas, store openings)
  • Collaborate closely with the Media team to identify and develop content best suited to campaign objectives and media plan requirements
  • Liaise with advertising sales houses to monitor emerging advertising formats, market trends, and innovations
  • Maintain oversight of media format specifications to ensure all content meets compliance and technical standards

Qualifications

  • Master's degree (BAC+5) from a business school, communication school, or equivalent institution
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a similar advertising, marketing communications, or creative role within either an advertiser's marketing/communications department or advertising agency
  • Strong understanding of offline and online campaign deployment challenges
  • Proficiency in the graphic production workflow and technical specifications for digital, print, and video formats
  • Demonstrated expertise in advertising, digital marketing, and social media strategy
  • Fluent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and image formatting standards
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) preferred
