Sephora Accounts Payable Accountant – 18-month contract in Saran, France. Manage European subsidiaries' payables, support financial transformation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance and reliability of accounting operations related to purchasing, invoicing, and payments
- Review and post supplier invoices and automated transactions in compliance with accounting, tax regulations, and purchasing commitments
- Monitor approval workflows and ensure processing deadlines are met
- Review and control payment runs
- Monitor supplier account reconciliations and balance clearance activities
- Ensure quality of monthly closing activities and accrual management
- Review balances of accounts payable related accounts (accrual invoices, credit notes receivable)
- Analyze supplier accounts, handle requests and follow-ups, and resolve discrepancies per procedure
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in deployment of automation solutions
- Contribute to transformation and digitalization of financial processes
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (minimum Bac +2/+3 level)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounts payable role
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Strong analytical abilities and proactive mindset
- Responsiveness and autonomy
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to thrive in a changing, evolving environment
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years in a similar accounts payable or vendor accounting function, preferably within a multinational or group environment managing multiple subsidiaries.
Education
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (minimum Bac +2/+3 level, equivalent to an advanced diploma or associate degree).
