Role & Responsibilities
- Process and code high volumes of vendor invoices and disbursements accurately within the shared‑services accounts payable workflow.
- Manage vendor communications in Arabic and English, resolve invoice queries and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal controls and approval matrices for disbursements and electronic payments.
- Execute month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end AP close activities and support timely financial cutoffs.
- Reconcile vendor statements, maintain AP ledger accuracy and prepare ageing and payment schedules.
- Support audits and compliance requests by providing documentation and reconciliations on demand.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (treasury, procurement, operations) to optimise payment processes and implement improvements.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in accounts payable or accounting functions.
- Experience with large ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a high‑volume, deadline‑driven environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with attention to accuracy and internal controls.
