Sephora seeks an Accounts Payable Accountant in Central Jakarta for its SEA Shared Service Centre. Full-time, hybrid role managing vendor invoices and financial controls.
Role & Responsibilities
- Process and manage high-volume vendor invoices with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring compliance with established accounting protocols
- Perform vendor communication and reconciliation, maintaining positive supplier relationships while resolving discrepancies promptly
- Monitor and maintain internal controls over disbursements and electronic payment systems to safeguard company assets
- Manage month-end, quarter-end, half-year, and year-end close procedures, meeting all statutory and operational deadlines
- Take complete ownership of assigned accounts payable functions within the Shared Service Centre, reporting to the Assistant Accounts Payable Manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in an accounting function
- Proficiency with large ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Fluent English language skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong planning and organizational capabilities
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts payable, financial operations, or related accounting functions. Prior exposure to high-volume transaction processing and vendor management in a multinational or shared services environment is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
