Role & Responsibilities
- Perform accurate pre-count and scanning of physical merchandise during the biannual inventory cycle.
- Operate hand-held inventory scanners and inventory management systems to record stock levels on the selling floor and in stockrooms.
- Assist customers on the sales floor, process transactions at POS registers, and maintain a welcoming shopping environment.
- Organize and replenish merchandise, support sales events, and follow visual standards and store merchandising procedures.
- Follow loss prevention controls and compliance procedures, including use of sensor removers and ticket scanners where required.
- Communicate information clearly, work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in retail, customer service, warehouse, or sales environments; seasonal or inventory-count experience preferred.
- Proven time-management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
- Ability to follow loss prevention and compliance procedures and maintain attention to detail during repetitive counting tasks.
