Role & Responsibilities
- Establish and communicate the store’s strategic vision; align store initiatives with regional and corporate objectives to drive top‑line growth and 4‑wall EBITDA.
- Analyze key KPIs and sales trends to adjust merchandising, staffing and promotional strategies to optimize sales, margin and inventory turns.
- Own controllable expenses including payroll, Saks Credit oversight, supply ordering and gross margin management to achieve financial targets.
- Lead, coach and develop a diverse leadership team; cascade goals and priorities to store associates and hold leaders accountable for results.
- Create and sustain a service‑first selling culture that elevates the customer experience and drives conversion and loyalty.
- Design and execute onboarding, development and succession plans for key store roles to ensure bench strength and retention.
- Ensure consistent execution of brand presentation and visual direction; identify opportunities to elevate in‑store experiences.
- Manage operational compliance using Storeforce; oversee daily tasking, sign‑offs and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Own the inventory process including preparation and accurate execution of bi‑annual counts and shrink mitigation protocols.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment where associates contribute ideas and adapt to change through clear communication and role modeling.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to lead a large, diverse retail team in a fast‑paced, multi‑channel environment.
- Demonstrable business acumen with experience managing P&L, payroll and other controllable expenses.
- Proven track record of using data and KPIs to develop strategy and drive measurable business performance.
- Strong background in coaching, talent development and succession planning.
- Experience with visual merchandising and operational excellence to uphold brand presentation standards.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and decision‑making skills; ability to lead through change.
- Availability and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required by retail operations.

Education
