Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a personalized, customer-centric shopping experience and build long-term client relationships.
- Recommend, locate and select merchandise according to customer needs and product knowledge.
- Execute sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS register and adhere to checkout standards.
- Promote loyalty programs and Saks credit card offerings to drive customer acquisition and repeat business.
- Maintain selling floor and fitting room standards, including markdown execution, restocking go-backs and signing fixtures and windows as required.
- Support store selling events and participate in ongoing merchandising and display activities to meet brand standards.
- Adhere to Asset Protection control and compliance procedures and report shortage/theft concerns through established channels.
- Complete ad hoc tasks and special projects assigned by store leadership with urgency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrated retail, customer service or sales experience with a proven sales track record.
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to build rapport with diverse clientele.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to operate store equipment such as POS register, radios, ticket scanners and sensor removers.

Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service is required; candidates should demonstrate a results-driven mentality and prior achievement of sales targets.
