Role & Responsibilities

• Recommend, select, and help locate merchandise based on customer needs and desires
• Greet customers consistently and educate them on current promotions and product offerings
• Build and foster relationships with repeat customers while promoting the Saks credit card program
• Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems and adhere to checkout standards
• Resolve customer issues in alignment with the company's core values of trust, integrity, and respect
• Achieve individual and store sales targets, customer acquisition goals, and loyalty program participation metrics
• Maintain the selling floor and fitting rooms, including fixture resizing, markdown execution, and signage placement
• Execute markdown processes with accuracy and urgency in accordance with company standards
• Participate in store programs, selling events, and seasonal campaigns
• Maintain proper merchandise display in compliance with brand standards and visual guidelines
• Adhere to asset protection and compliance procedures; support loss prevention initiatives
• Complete assigned tasks and special projects directed by store leadership

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven retail, customer service, or sales experience
• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships
• Thorough knowledge of the fashion industry and genuine passion for luxury apparel and accessories
• Proven sales track record with results-driven mindset
• Ability to operate retail equipment including POS registers, radios, ticket scanners, and sensor removers
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Skills

Experience

Experience in a retail, customer service, or sales environment is required. A proven sales track record and demonstrated ability to exceed performance targets in a luxury or fashion retail setting is preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 18.90 per hour.
