Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a personalized, service‑led shopping experience and act as a style advisor to drive repeat business and client loyalty.
- Meet and exceed individual and store sales goals, promoting loyalty programs and Saks credit offerings where applicable.
- Accurately process transactions using the POS register and uphold checkout standards.
- Maintain product knowledge and be familiar with store inventory to advise customers and locate merchandise.
- Support visual standards and selling floor maintenance, including markdowns, go‑backs, fitting room upkeep and signage.
- Adhere to Asset Protection procedures and participate in shortage/theft awareness and reporting programs.
- Operate store equipment (radios, ticket scanners, sensor removers) and execute tasks or special projects assigned by store leadership.
- Participate in store events and promotional programs to maximize sales and customer acquisition.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a retail, customer service, or sales environment with a results‑driven mindset.
- Proven ability to meet sales targets and build lasting customer relationships.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; adept at consultative selling.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to operate POS register, radios, ticket scanners and sensor removers.
