Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalised service by recommending, selecting and locating merchandise to meet customer needs and preferences.
- Maintain deep familiarity with store inventory and product assortments to deliver authoritative product knowledge.
- Greet customers consistently, communicate current promotions and foster repeat business through relationship building and credit program enrolment.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS register while adhering to checkout standards.
- Meet individual and store sales targets, drive customer acquisition and support loyalty program participation.
- Maintain the selling floor and fitting rooms, execute markdowns, handle go-backs, and ensure fixtures and displays meet brand standards.
- Adhere to Asset Protection controls and report shortage or theft concerns through established company channels.
- Support store selling events and complete special projects assigned by store leadership.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail, sales or customer service with a demonstrable sales focus.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to operate store equipment including POS register, radios, ticket scanners and sensor removers.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
