Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a personalized, high-standard shopping experience and proactively identify customer needs to recommend relevant merchandise.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of store inventory, promotions, and product assortments to educate and advise customers.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS register and adhere to checkout standards.
- Build repeat business through relationship development and promotion of the Saks credit offering and loyalty initiatives.
- Support selling-floor presentation and upkeep, including markdowns, reshelving go-backs, fitting-room maintenance, and visual merchandising compliance.
- Adhere to Asset Protection policies and report shortages or suspicious activity through established reporting channels.
- Participate in store programs, selling events, and complete special projects or tasks assigned by store leadership.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a retail, sales, or customer service environment; proven sales performance preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exemplary customer service and build lasting customer relationships.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and contribute to a positive store culture.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required by business needs.
