Role & Responsibilities

• Recommend, select, and help locate merchandise based on customer needs and desires
• Maintain comprehensive product knowledge of store inventory and luxury designer assortments
• Greet customers consistently and educate them on current promotions and brand offerings
• Build lasting customer relationships to foster repeat business and promote Saks credit card enrollment
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS register system
• Resolve customer issues with professionalism, applying core values of trust, integrity, and respect
• Achieve individual and store sales targets, customer acquisition goals, and loyalty program participation metrics
• Maintain the selling floor and fitting rooms through fixture resizing, merchandise organization, markdown execution, and signage updates
• Execute markdown processes with accuracy and urgency in accordance with company standards
• Participate in store programs, selling events, and promotional activities
• Ensure proper merchandise display and compliance with brand standards throughout the store
• Adhere to asset protection procedures and support loss prevention awareness initiatives
• Complete tasks and special projects assigned by store leadership in a timely manner

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven sales track record and results-driven mindset
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-standard customer service and build exceptional customer relationships
• Thorough knowledge of the fashion industry and passion for sharing expertise
• Ability to operate POS registers, ticket scanners, radios, and sensor removers
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Skills

Experience

Experience in a retail, customer service, or sales environment is required. Candidates should demonstrate a competitive drive, entrepreneurial confidence, and the ability to act promptly in routine situations to achieve positive customer outcomes.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 15 to USD 21 per hour.
