Role & Responsibilities

• Recommend, select, and help locate merchandise based on customer needs and desires
• Maintain familiarity with store inventory to provide authoritative product knowledge to customers
• Consistently greet customers and educate them on current promotions and special offers
• Foster repeat business by building meaningful customer relationships and promoting the Saks credit card program
• Process sales transactions efficiently and accurately using the POS register system while adhering to checkout standards
• Resolve customer issues through alignment with core values of trust, integrity, and respect
• Achieve individual and store performance goals for sales, customer acquisition, and loyalty program participation
• Participate in ongoing floor maintenance including fixture resizing, restocking, executing markdowns, and maintaining signage and window displays
• Execute the markdown process with urgency and accuracy in accordance with company standards
• Participate in store programs, selling events, and promotional activities
• Maintain proper merchandising standards on the selling floor to ensure compliance with brand guidelines
• Adhere to Asset Protection control and compliance procedures and support theft awareness initiatives
• Complete tasks and special projects assigned by store leadership in a timely manner

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven sales track record and results-driven mindset
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high standards of customer service and build exceptional customer relationships
• Thorough knowledge of the fashion industry and passion for sharing expertise
• Ability to operate retail equipment including radios, POS registers, ticket scanners, and sensor removers
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays

Skills

Experience

Experience in a retail, customer service, or sales environment, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 17.05 to USD 21.32 per hour.
