Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, client‑focused service by recommending, selecting and locating merchandise to meet customer needs.
- Maintain deep familiarity with store inventory and product assortments to advise customers and drive conversion.
- Greet customers consistently, communicate current promotions and proactively promote Saks credit card and loyalty participation.
- Process sales accurately and efficiently using the POS register while adhering to company checkout standards.
- Build repeat business through relationship building, follow‑up and customer acquisition activities.
- Execute merchandising and store presentation tasks: display maintenance, fixture resizing, markdowns, signage and fitting room upkeep.
- Complete markdowns and price changes with urgency and accuracy in accordance with company standards.
- Adhere to Asset Protection control procedures and support shortage and theft awareness programs through required reporting.
- Participate in store programs, selling events and special projects as assigned by store leadership.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Thorough knowledge of fashion and the ability to articulate product features and fit to customers.
- Competitive, results‑driven mindset with entrepreneurial confidence to meet sales targets.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to operate radios, POS register, ticket scanners and sensor removers and to follow checkout and cash‑handling standards.

Experience
